The Museum tells the story of the Foundling Hospital, Britain’s first home for abandoned children in its social history gallery.

The Hospital’s art collection, established by William Hogarth is displayed in period interiors which include the first public art gallery in Britain. The Museum also holds the largest private collection of Handel memorabilia.
