HMS BELFAST was launched in 1938 and served with distinction in both the Second World War and the Korean War. She is now the only surviving example of the great fleets of big gun armoured warships built for the Royal Navy in the first half of the twentieth century.
Explore nine decks of this great historic cruiser, from the Captain’s Bridge down to the massive boiler and engine rooms well below the ship’s waterline. Come on-board and join in our fun family events. A "Sailor's Life" activities for children take place on-board the last weekend of every month. Events are free for children under 16 and no pre-booking is required. For adults, there is a regular programme of history lectures, which take place throughout the year.
