From Roman settlement to Dockland's regeneration, unlock the history of London's river, port and people in this historic West India Quay warehouse in the heart of East London.

Discover a wealth of objects from whale bones to WWII gas masks in state-of-the-art galleries, including an interactive area for children Mudlarks, an interactive area for kids; Sailortown, an atmospheric re-creation of 19th century riverside Wapping; and London, Sugar and Slavery, a brand new gallery which reveals the capital's untold involvement in the transatlantic slave trade.

Archaeological finds, tours, films, hands-on displays and events make the Museum in Docklands an adventure for all ages.

Jack the Ripper and the East End (15th May - 2nd Nov)

Museum in Docklands is returning to the scene of London’s most infamous crimes in the first exhibition to explore the Jack the Ripper murders and their enduring legacy. Examine original documents from the investigation and follow events as they unfolded.

Due to its sensitive nature we do not recommend this exhibition for children under 12.

Admission: Adult £7.00.

Includes admission to Museum and Jack the Ripper exhibition.

Opening Times: Daily 10.00-18.00. Last admission to exhibition 16.45.
