Description:
Shakespeare's Globe Exhibition explores the life and works of our greatest playwright, the London where he lived, and the theatre for which he wrote.
The exhibition is the largest of its kind devoted to Shakespeare and is situated beneath the stunning Globe Theatre itself. Throughout the year, a fascinating guided tour of the theatre is included in your visit to the exhibition.
During the theatre season, tours are taken to the nearby excavations of Bankside's first theatre - the Rose - the space for which Christopher Marlowe and Ben Jonson wrote their greatest plays and in which Shakespeare learnt his trade.
