Description:
This lively museum houses a collection themed on Whitstable's unique coastal community and seafaring traditions, including special features on oysters, diving and shipping.
The art gallery is also a popular venue for regularly changing special exhibitions, hosting both national touring exhibitions and those put on by local talents.
Admission is free and the museum is open daily (except Sundays, Good Friday and at Christmas) 10am to 4pm. Also open on Sundays 1pm to 4pm during July and August.
