In Spring 2013, Alton Towers Resort launches its biggest ever rollercoaster - The Smiler.  The first of its kind in the world, the rollercoaster features a 30m drop and a ride time of 165 seconds.  With a track length three times longer than the iconic Oblivion and a speed of 85km/hr, the new rollercoaster is set to be an intense addition to the Resort's amazing line-up of adrenalin pumping attractions!
