The walled garden was originally planted as a formal herb garden with clipped bays and box hedges, the planting has been extended over the years to include many beautiful and unusual cottage garden perennials.
The Rose garden with over 350 roses of almost 100 different varieties including many old roses such as the Apothecaries Rose and Eglantine Rose. There are also beautiful herbaceous borders and a lily pool.
Either enjoy a leisurely stroll around the gardens or spend a peaceful hour relaxing with a cream tea served on the lawns. We also serve an excellent choice of coffees, teas, locally baked cakes and freshly prepared rolls.
