Christchurch Priory Church
Would you like to visit a complete medieval monastic church? Visit one of the longest Parish Churches in England - the Christchurch Priory Church in Dorset.
Much of today's Priory Church stands as it was when King Henry VIII granted the church to the people of Christchurch for use as their Parish Church. The total length of the church is 311 feet, 4 inches - making it the longest Parish Church in England.
In medieval times there were three churches in this one building - the People's Church, The Monks Church (the Quire) and the Lady Chapel.
