Award-winning visitor attraction Escot is set in 220 acres of stunning private parkland in the heart of East Devon and offers a great family day out.
See rare red squirrels in our new walk-through enclosure, negotiate the fantasy woodland complete with a knee-trembling forest drop slide. Try to keep up with the children as they complete the intriguing letterboxing trail and get yourself lost in the world-class Beech Hedge Maze - it's a real challenge!
Escot is known as 'The Natural Place' for good reason. Peacocks roam free and threatened native species such as the secretive water vole have found sanctuary in surroundings steeped in history and filled with plants and magnificent champion trees.
Come and meet our cheeky family of otters and see wild boar who in days gone by would have roamed free across the estate. Birds of prey and owls feature in our amazing daily falconry displays and the indoor play barn is perfect for wet weather days.
For a well-earned break the Coach House restaurant serves delicious home-cooked lunches using local ingredients and fabulous devon cream teas as well as snacks and specialist teas and coffees. There's a natural surprise waiting around every corner - so come and visit us soon! Just 15 minutes from Exeter.
