Galleries & Museums
The Estorick Collection was formed by Eric Estorick (1913-1993) and his wife Salome (1920-1989) during the 1950s. The Canonbury Square building was refurbished to house the Collection and opened to the public in 1998.
Nowhere else in Britain can visitors see in such profusion paintings by Futurism's main protagonists: Giacomo Balla, Umberto Boccioni, Carlo Carrà, Luigi Russolo and Gino Severini. The Collection also includes works by Giorgio de Chirico, Amedeo Modigliani and Giorgio Morandi.
