Water, water, everywhere

London has all manner of aquatic attractions on offer this Spring. Witness the miracles of underwater life, take a boat trip on the Thames, or go on your own voyage of discovery by boarding vessels like HMS Belfast or the Golden Hinde from Britain's past.

Lots of watery experiences for you and your family to enjoy... and all without anyone getting wet!

London certainly doesn't have any shortage of H2O. So, if you're in danger of running out of things to keep your kids amused, there are lots of fun and interesting water-based activities and things to do, as well as places to visit, by taking the train to London for a family day out.

After a recent £5million refurbishment, the Sea Life London Aquarium has a huge range of fascinating underwater life on display, including many exciting feeding time shows, and you even get the chance to actually touch some of the sea creatures.

There are many different ways you can take a trip on the Thames, from short, fun hops on the Thames Clippers to a full, hour-long City Cruise taking in many of London's most famous sights along the way.

Historic warships HMS Belfast and the Golden Hinde are moored near Tower Bridge, ready and waiting to be boarded for inspection by aspiring young naval commanders or engineers, as well as providing us with their own unique views of one of the most vibrant cities in the world.
