The tours cover the history of Greenwich, the Royal Observatory, Greenwich Park, the Prime Meridian and much more. Hear about Henry VIII and Elizabeth I, both born in Greenwich. Christopher Wren’s grand architecture is shown in the buildings of the Old Royal Naval College and Flamsteed House, part of the Royal Observatory. Greenwich has now been a World Heritage Site for over 10 years. In 2012, apart from hosting several of the Olympic events, Greenwich will become a Royal Borough.
The daily walks last about 90 minutes.
Admission: Adult £6.00.
Tour Times: Daily at 12.15 & 14.15. Offer is available on all walks. Not available for groups of more than 16 people.
