These lower price Off-Peak tickets are valid for travel out and back on the same day. They can be purchased for travel on any day of the week, but cannot generally be used Mondays - Fridays at peak times to, from or via London. You can buy them on the day of travel, or in advance if you wish. You can get further discounts using National Railcards. Or if your journeys are wholly in London and the South you can get discounts using a Network Railcard. If you are travelling in a group of 3 or 4 get a GroupSave deal. Tip: If you are in a hurry on the day of travel, many stations have self-service ticket machines and you can generally beat the queue at the Booking Office.
