One of the most famous French painters of the early 19th century, Paul Delaroche’s work received wide international acclaim during his lifetime. This exhibition will, for the first time, examine Delaroche’s most famous work, ‘The Execution of Lady Jane Grey’, in the context of the great historical paintings that made his reputation.
