ZSL London Zoo has been entertaining and delighting visitors since opening to the public in 1847. With over 750 incredible species, exciting and innovative exhibits it's a great day out in the capital for all ages.

 

Experience ZSL London Zoo new walk-through exhibit In with the Lemurs. Home to 16 male lemurs, including ring-tail lemurs and a black and white ruffed lemur, visitors will walk among the forest home of the playful primates as they leap and climb overhead.

 

But there is more in store! ZSL London Zoo invites visitors to head down to the Penguin Beach and watch London's largest colony of Humboldt Penguins dive, swim, frolic and feed. Walk through the African forest and discover Western Lowland Gorilla. As well as immerse themselves in London's only living rainforest. Visitors can also enjoy our daily animal displays, feeds and talks!

There are a number of disabled parking bays near the Zoo entrance.

Access

The Zoo is more than 170 years old and contains many old buildings, 12 of which are listed. However, most of the Zoo is accessible for wheelchair users and those with walking difficulties. The Zoo also has a limited number of wheelchairs available to hire at no extra cost. It is recommended that you book a wheelchair in advance of your visit. Please call 0844 225 1826 to reserve one.
