How do the offers work?

On presentation of each persons valid National Rail tickets, a huge range of offers can be redeemed!

Most offers are 2FOR1 entry, valid on full price adult tickets only. In the event of a full price and concessionary admission ticket being purchased together, the cheapest will be deducted, unless otherwise stated. Other offers such as 3FOR2 and 'X% off' may apply. Please read the offer terms carefully.

All offers apply to 'on the door' pricing, unless otherwise stated. These prices will sometimes vary from those displayed on the attractions website. Please see the individual attractions listing for pricing details. There may be occasions that this does not apply. For example, participating restaurants will be offering 2FOR1 Main Courses or similar, in which case prices vary and the cheapest will be deducted.

Conditions apply to specific attractions. Please refer at all times to the individual terms and conditions listed on the website and printed on your vouchers.

If you are making a return journey, you can use your National Rail tickets and offer vouchers any day on or between your outward and return journeys. For example, if you arrived on Thursday and will return on Sunday, your tickets will be considered valid for the offers on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

All tickets should show that you have travelled to the attraction by train, whether that be ‘London Terminals’ for 2FOR1 London attractions, or the train station nearest to the attraction itself. Tickets that have a destination too far from the attractions location may be denied by attraction staff. Details of the attractions nearest station can be found on the attraction’s listing page.

If you are worried that the ticket barrier will keep your ticket when you exit the station, please ask a member of staff to let you through manually. This will ensure you have retained your tickets in order to redeem 2FOR1 offers at attractions.

Where can I find information about travelling this summer?

We want you to feel confident and reassured when travelling. Please check our Travel Advice page before you pre-book your tickets and remember that you must wear a face covering during your train journey (unless you are exempt) or you could get a £100 fine from the British Transport Police.

There are different travel rules in other parts of Great Britain. So, if you're travelling in Wales or Scotland, please check the latest government advice.

How can I request a refund on pre-booked attraction tickets?

Days Out Guide does not process any ticket payments, so you must contact the attraction directly to request a refund. Please check with attraction directly regarding cancellation/refund policies.

Where must I travel to/from to get 2FOR1 offers?

All tickets should show that you have travelled to the attraction by train, whether that be ‘London Terminals’ for 2FOR1 London attractions, or the train station nearest to the attraction itself. Tickets that have a destination too far from the attractions location may be denied by attraction staff. Details of the attractions nearest station can be found on the attraction’s listing page.

How do I keep my train tickets to use them for a 2FOR1 offer?

If you are worried that the ticket barrier will keep your ticket when you exit the station, please ask a member of staff to let you through manually. This will ensure you have retained your tickets in order to redeem 2FOR1 offers at attractions.

Travelling with Children

Children aged 5-15 years require a train ticket to travel on National Rail services, whereas children under 5 years do not. If the attraction charges entry fees for children under 5 years, it may be beneficial for the child to be part of the 2FOR1 group and you will then need to purchase a National Rail ticket for them. See the individual attraction website for entry charges for children.

Can the vouchers be used in conjunction with any other offers?

No, 2FOR1 vouchers cannot be used with any other promotional offer, individual or group discount offered by the attraction/venue.

Can I travel on a day other than that I have chosen when downloading a voucher?

Yes, as long as you show up with the printed voucher and valid train tickets on the day of your visit. Don't forget to check when the offer expires!

Can I use my 2FOR1 voucher on the day it expires?

Yes, you can use your 2FOR1 voucher on the date that the offer expires. For example, if the 2FOR1 offer expires 31 October, you can use the 2FOR1 voucher on the 31 October.

Can I use the offers for a large group?

No, due to the nature of the offer, it has not been set up to accommodate the requirements of large groups. For large groups, please contact the attraction directly for information on their group rates.

When do you renew your offers?

We are regularly in contact with the attractions/venues that provide the offers and many offers are renewed. Each offer has an expiry date detailed on the listing page and on the voucher.

If you are travelling after the expiry date of the offer you are interested in, please check the website one or two weeks before travel to see if the offer has been extended.

Offers are subject to change and/or withdrawal without notice. Please visit the attractions listing page for details including exclusion and end dates.

How many vouchers are required?

One printed voucher is required per two people, per attraction. One person pays the full adult price and the second person goes free on presentation of each voucher and pair of valid National Rail tickets.

There may be occasions that this does not apply. There are participating restaurants, which may offer 2FOR1 Main Courses or similar. There are also now a limited number of attractions offering Online Booking, which does not require a printed voucher – only your pre-booked 2FOR1 ticket and National Rail tickets. Please check the attractions listing for full offer details.

How many vouchers can I download?

You can download up to 3 vouchers per attraction, that will cover 2FOR1 entry for up to 6 people, at any one time. You can add as many attractions as you like to your basket before completing your download.

What happens if I don't have a printer?

You must have a printed voucher, per two people, per attraction to redeem the offers advertised on this website. Attractions require a hard copy of the voucher to be retained on entry. Vouchers shown on a mobile device are not accepted.

When printing vouchers from email, please ensure all images are downloaded – some vouchers include barcodes that are essential for redemption.
