The city that’s built for children will be taken over by Halloween from 15 to 30 October. The mini-city provides 60 role-playing adventures for young people to give them a taste of future jobs they may enjoy. This half term they can take part in a Tricky Treasure Trail throughout the City plus facepaint favourites Snazaroo will be there to turn your children into little monsters. Plus expect to see green milkshakes, spooky jewellery and Halloween-themed TV broadcasts.
York Dungeon - Wicked Women of York
The Home of Halloween, The York Dungeon, will bring you face to face with the infamous and most Wicked Women of York. Visitors will be plunged into a cool, cloudy day in York’s Market Square, in 1649. The Spring Assizes are underway and 21 criminals are awaiting their fate.
Ripley’s Believe It Or Not - Wicked Halloween week
Ripley’s will be taken over by the witches from Wicked, currently celebrating its 10th anniversary in London. The exclusive collaboration will see some of the show’s costumes being exhibited alongside Ripley’s usual collection of oddball artefacts. Plus there will be facepainters and balloon modellers to craft balloons into broomsticks, witches’ hats and other Wicked-themed items for children to take home. From 22 to 30 October.
